UVDTF Print Transfers Gang Sheet

UVDTF Application Process:

  1. Substrate Preparation:

    • Clean the substrate well with 70% IPA (Isopropyl Alcohol)
    • Allow object to dry and wipe any residue from IPA off with a dry towel.

  2. Transfer Preparation:

    • Use a squeegee to rub the transfer prior to peeling the transfer film away from the backing. Be sure to apply adequate pressure to ensure a clean transfer.

  3. Application Process:

    • Peel backing off transfer film ensuring the entire images remains on the top transfer film. 
    • Carefully place on substrate while pressing from the center out to the edges to avoid bubbles! DO NOT LIFT THE FILM. Once you've laid the film down it will stick where you laid it.
    • Use a squeegee and rub from the center out to the edges to finish the adhesion process.
    • CAREFULLY and SLOWLY peel the film at a tight angle to ensure the image does not lift with the film. IF you notice the image lifting carefully use the squeegee to push it back down onto the surface.

HOW TO CARE FOR YOUR UVDTF FINISHED PROJECT:

  1. Washing Instructions:

    • Hand wash only
    • Do not soak or the transfer may lift
    • Use luke warm water with mild soap
    • Do not place in microwave or dishwasher
